Short Distance Analysis of ¯ B → D (∗)0 e + e − and ¯ B → J/ψe + e −

چکیده
Over a large fraction of phase space a combination of an operator product and heavy quark expansions effectively turn the decay B̄ → D(∗)0e+e− into a “short distance” process, i.e., one in which the weak and electromagnetic interactions occur through single local operators. These processes have an underlying W-exchange quark diagram topology and are therefore Cabibbo allowed but suppressed by combinatoric factors and short distance QCD corrections. Our technique allows a clearer exploration of these effects. For the decay B̄d,s → J/ψ(ηc)ee one must use a non-relativistic (NRQCD) expansion, in addition to an operator product expansion and a heavy quark effective theory expansion. We estimate the decay rates for B̄d,s → J/ψe+e−, B̄d,s → ηcee, B̄d,s → D∗0e+e− and B̄d,s → D0e+e−. PACS numbers: 13.20.He, 12.39.Hg [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] 1

Wiener Polarity Index of Tensor Product of Graphs
Mathematical chemistry is a branch of theoretical chemistry for discussion and prediction of the molecular structure using mathematical methods without necessarily referring to quantum mechanics. In theoretical chemistry, distance-based molecular structure descriptors are used for modeling physical, pharmacologic, biological and other properties of chemical compounds. The Wiener Polarity index ...
متن کاملHabitat suitability modeling for wild goat (Capra aegagrus) in a mountainous arid area, central Iran
Wild goat (Capra aegagrus) is one of the most prominent mountain mammals dispersed in many habitats in Iran. However, few studies on the relationship between this species and its habitat have been conducted. This species is recognized as one of the main food source for highly endangered species such as cheetah and leopard. In this study which lasted from fall 2009 through summer 2011, seasona...
متن کاملSerologic profile of avian leukosis virus subgroup-J, Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae in broiler grandparent flocks of Iran.
Avian Leukosis Virus Subgroup-J (ALV-J). Mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG) and MycopJasma synviae (MS) are important pathogens in chickens that cause severe economical losses in poultry industry throughout the world. Seven broiler grandparent flocks of Iran (six broiler strains) were sampled randomly at the ages of 8-63 wk (100 samples from each flock) for antibody detection to ALV-J, MG, and MS ...
متن کاملGrowth Performance and Biochemical Parametersof Broiler Chickens on Diets Consist of Chicory (Cichorium intybus) and Nettle (Urtica dioica) with or without Multi-Enzyme
A total of 288 broiler chickens (1 d old) were used in a 42-d growth trial to study the effects of chicory (Cichorium intybus) and nettle (Urtica dioica) with or without multi-enzyme on growth performance, carcass traits, and biochemical parameters. The corn-soybean based control diet and 8 experimental diets were fed to each of 3 pens of chickens (12 chickens/pen). Treatments were as follows: ...
